The YJACK VIEW™ app uses your device Bluetooth®/location capability to collect sensor readings from YJACK™ wireless tools. The app can collect this information while it is in the foreground AND while it is in the background. The background collection of data is used to enable the datalogging capabilities of the app. It is possible that diagnosing a system issue requires a long-term (2-24hrs) logging of system data to capture the problem in action. For this reason the YJACK VIEW™ app can access the Bluetooth® radio of your device even when not visible to the user. The YJACK VIEW™ app does not store any user location information.
