Charging hoses don’t last forever. In fact, we recommend any hose more than five-years old be replaced. Why? A hose gets its strength from the braided material beneath the cover. So if the cover becomes cracked or cut, exposing the braid, you have a problem in the making. You’ll also want to check the gaskets, valve openers and “O”-rings in the hoses to see if they’re in good shape.
